Join us for a one-and-a-half hour roundtable session where leading green building experts from various countries, with the participation of authorities and academia, will discuss ways of developing green building in Kyrgyzstan. This will be an important dialogue including discussion of emerging issues, exchange of ideas and experiences and support for the GBC initiative in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting will focus on development of green building in the region, assessment of current state, potential opportunities and challenges. The discussion will raise issues of sustainable use of resources, application of innovative building technologies, education and awareness, development of national and introduction of international green standards and creation of favorable investment climate for environmental projects.
The round table will result in an application to join the WorldGBC, as well as proposals for cooperation with the European Green Building Council and the Russian Green Building Council.
